A Big Humungous thanks to the best campaign manager in the world!

Debs, this award is for you. Your blog is superb, witty, heartwarming and like dropping in for a cup of tea with a great pal. Thanks for everything and it it wasn't for you I might have trailed a poor third instead of getting my vote up by another 10 percent. Awesome - as I said before you are a big loss to marketing and business as a whole but were a great find for me and Sy. Ta hen as we say in Glasgow!

*****And for those of you that commented, voted and supported me, there will be more awards when I can sit down and name you all*****

Well done on an wesome job Debs! If that competition had gone on a week or so longer, I would have been looking at defeat I think! Of course, there isnt really a defeat in this at all for anyone, as I have gained more awesome sites to read etc. Anything that increases readers, is a win no matter what place you come.

Sy - yeah I've cemented a couple of cyber friendships so that added to the extra readership is a real bonus. I am still so thrilled at getting into the top ten out of all those people - how cool is that?! We did good everyone!

Be prepared for troll activity now that we are almost famous! Hah, as it! Did you see the nasty pile of comments that Dulwichmum got? I've never seen such an odious bunch of comments. People are so ready to hide behind their screens and say stuff that they wouldn't have the courage to say to people's faces. Big eh?

Anyway, yup we all won!

MOB, thank you so much, I'm chuffed to bits. I think both you and Sy did a brilliant job, and of course it brought us all together. Hey and you guys, any troll activity send them to me for a "Kirby Kiss."
Now that you're famous and all that you may be looking for a manager, cough cough aherm. PICK ME PICK ME PICK ME! Cheers MOB you really are the best. Bebs x

Congrats on coming in 1st runner up! And yes - Debs deserves every accolade possible for her help in it all. What a great friend!

Many congratulations, mob. It was a close thing. I've brought a glass. Is there any alcohol going? Oh, was I supposed to bring a bottle? Damn!

Congrats for your second place win. :)

Beautiful award (you made it, right? You are so talented) and hurray on coming in first runner up ( like AIMS said). And to Sy as well.
And while I'm at it hurray to Debs on all the advertising and the award.

I'm in a happy mood today. Tired and brain-dead, but happy. :)

Debs - like the idea of giving trolls a Kirby kiss! You as a manager? No contest and it would be a foregone conclusion for someone with such magnificent skills. I should be so lucky to ever have the need to retain you or indeed someone of your calibre and skills!

Auntiegwen - aye me too hen. It's been a rare wee time hus it no? Ahm urney gonnae let this go tae mah heed though!

Aims - cograts to you too, best in your breed huh?! Such a good and well deserved win. And yup - I won anyway making two more pals like Debs and Sy. Our mutual appreciation society is thriving!

Mean Mom - flippin heck, a drink going and I missed it. Was having a night off from the cyber world as I had to get to Waitrose for provisions. Next time I'll get a load of electric soup in and we can dance around the campfire until dawn, (okay maybe 1.pm!)

Rose - thanks for your good wishes and popping by. You are very welcome and I'll pop along to see you too of course.

Jules - ah I wish I could claim bragging rights about how I designed and made the award but I nicked it from Dulwichmum's blog site as I really liked it and thought it did Debs justice. I have no skills at all in that area otherwise I would have designed an award that was even nore personal!

Thanks for your good wishes ad it's been really nice to get to know you over the last few weeks. Terrific photogrophy at your place, wish I had that talent.

What!? Nothing for me?? I voted for you, like, almost every day. And damn me for throwing all my votes over to Punk Rock Mommy. I didn't even end up in the top three. Poop.

;-) Congratulations!

menopausaloldbag (MOB) said...

Carolyn - ah my dear pal, given that you gave away your votes which was incredibly kind of you then you were bound to drop out of the race - unlike us shameful harlets that begged daily for votes, offered bribes and threatened violence too!

As an inspirational person you of course will be honored in my roll call as you are such a wonderful supporter. I was sorry you capitulated on your best of mommy blog because I think you are good enough to win it. Next year okay?

First runner up? Not bad for someone on crutches!

menopausaloldbag (MOB) said...

Eileen, I think we've all started a mutual admiration society of which you are very much part of that. You'e been terrific throughout it all. Thank you so much.

Hey MOB, well done you on "nicking" the award. Nicked awards are like nicked chips, they taste sooo much better than your own. Bebs x

menopausaloldbag (MOB) said...

Bebs - I'll be honest, I told Dulwichmum that I was purloining the award and she didn't seem to mind! Yup it does taste like nicked chips and it was free! But it was still full of genuine and heartfelt gratitude for the way you drove my campaign!

P.S Just answered your email...

Will be looking up Debs forthwith! And of COURSE you got into the top ten - whatever made you think that you wouldn't?

Yep, so cannot understand people who take time out of their lives to leave peevish, nasty comments on other people's blogs. So, there are people who have a different perspective on life? Get over it! (That was to them, not you, of course Mob. Wouldn't dare leaving a dodgy comment on yours...)

LITTLE BROWN DOG said...

PS That last comment was a joke, by the way, in case you come over to my blog page with a wee Glasgow kiss...

Sorry Mikiye - my humblest apologies dear girl! Mikiye - you are clearly a lady and a star!....says Mob, ingratiating herself as she backs out the room fawning obsequiously as she goes!

OK - your wish is my command...my view on "forgive and forget now available for you to read (and please make sure you comment - ever since I came second in that competition my comments have dried up - maybe that's because a Rufus Wainwright review leaves people unable to comment! Lx

Okay, I'm here again and this time to apologise. I read your lovely comment and published it with a couple of others but yours didn't appear. I had a BIG problem with post scheduling (It APPEARED that the post wasn't going to publish at all) and ended up deleting the post scheduled post and publishing a second one. Your comment must have been attached to the first one. Many apologies. I LOVED the fact that you picked up on the hat. I hoped that someone would!!
